Laurie concentrates her practice in the area of estate administration and estate planning, including complex trust issues, special needs planning, cabin trusts, business and farm succession planning, contested probates and trusts, financial and healthcare powers of attorney, marital property issues, and other probate proceedings. Laurie graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She earned her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and taught fourth grade in Amery, Wisconsin for six years. She received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN. She is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and is a member of the Eau Claire County Bar and the Wisconsin State Bar. She currently serves on the grant committee for the Eau Claire Community Foundation, and as a board member on the CVTC Foundation Board and the BluGold Beginnings Board.
