Steve's practice focuses on insurance defense and general civil litigation. Steve has tried over 70 jury trials to verdict in 15 different counties in northwestern Wisconsin. He has tried cases involving automobile negligence, boating negligence, premises liability, real estate disputes, and contract disputes. Steve has also defended cases involving numerous types of personal injuries.
Steve grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in finance and obtained his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Steve is an active member of the Eau Claire Bar Association, the Wisconsin Defense Council, the Defense Research Institute and the State Bar of Wisconsin-Litigation Section. Steve has also been selected to be a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the American College of Trial Lawyers, and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
